Hey there! My name is James, and I'm a 29-year-old entrepreneur who decided to start his own business, “DoubleJFilms” in the midst of the pandemic. While the world was going through a difficult time, I saw an opportunity to focus on learning and practicing my craft. I spent 70% of my time honing my skills and applying them to my own projects. As things started opening up again, I began getting paid jobs while still working part-time. Fast forward to July 2022, and I took the leap to become a full-time videographer/photographer! As my work gained more exposure, it led to new friendships and even more opportunities.

My business vision took a dramatic turn when I found myself overwhelmed with current and potential clients. I was thrilled with the demand, but I quickly realised that there were only so many hours in a day. I wanted to say yes to all these future clients, but I knew I couldn't do it alone. That's when I had a lightbulb moment: ElevateStudiio was born! I spent countless hours planning and designing a brand new name that would embody the evolution, elevation, and growth that I wanted for my business and others! After much thought, I landed on “elevate” - a unique name that perfectly captures my mission to help businesses grow and succeed to new heights.

Originally it was ELEV8FLMS, but I felt like it was to limited and only targeting videography. I wanted a name that would allow for more creative freedom and growth. That's when the word STUDIIO came to mind. I looked up the definition and realised that it perfectly encapsulated what I wanted for my business - a space with no limitations where we could create and collaborate with other talented freelancers. As we move forward, I'm excited to see where ElevateStudiio takes us and the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
